MacOS X

Post #1by BusError » 15.03.2002, 11:30

I'm willing to finish porting the stuff to OSX (actualy, throwing together the 1.2.0 port and the current CVS) but first I'd like to know if:
+ chris is willing to integrate patches ASAP ? the changes are 'non trivial', there are a number of issues involving GL extentions due to able brain damaged way of organising stuff
+ Anyone else working on it?

Giano

please port it to macosX!

Bob Ippolito is currently working on a port of 1.2.2 . . . Something should be ready around midweek.

Celestia for MacOS X

Would it be possible for Bob to provide the Celestia "core" as well as the JPEG and PNG libraries as MacOS X frameworks?

I think this would make it possible for me to experiment with a Cocoa-based front-end to Celestia for MacOS X to replace the GLUT-based version.

Chris,
Can you tell us here when you have integrated the changes for OSX into the CVS repository?

Thanks
