Fridger,

I fear you are right.
I've been in touch with Bob the last time right when I came back from Noordwijk last autumn.
He wasn't in a good condition at all.
I wrote him a x-mas card but didn't get any response.
No good signs...

I am aware of Bob's serious health condition which he told me some time ago very openly (and yet in good spirits...)

I truely hope he is well.

Or at least his serious health condition (whatever it is) is not getting worse.

Anyway, best wishes from me.

Regards,

Guckytos

Yes, kind of...
An old friend I ran into briefly today at the old doctor's office wanted to know
my e-mail address. I didn't have any way to write it down at the moment, so
I told him to Google for "Bob Hegwood" and I was fairly certain that he would be
able to find my web site that way.

When I came home, I tried it just to see what would come up, and a link to THIS topic
was place before the link to my Home Page so I just had to comment on that weird set
of circumstances.

At any rate, it's nice to know that I'll be missed when I Do shuffle off of this mortal coil.

P.S. to Ulrich...

I did finally get your card my friend. The problem was that I didn't get it
until far later than you anticipated I'm sure. Let's just say that my dear
(now departed) wife gave it to me on a special occasion. Very sorry that
I never got around to thanking you for that personal touch.

You, sir, are a great friend. And others who don't like your handling
of things on the ML can just kiss my you know what.

Love ya buddy. Thanks. Still alive (just barely)

Jeez-o Bob.
When you bump a thread with a title like this one, you just about give me heart failure! :o

Ah, but I thought you knew me Mr. Hutchison...
'Tis my philosophy to raise Hell for as long as I can... When you do NOT see another topic
being bumped by old Brain-Dead for a while, then you can start to worry.

In fact, I have just returned from yet another fine visit to the bastards who call themselves
"medical doctors." I absolutely HATE these people. Sorry. Shouldn't vent, but I really do not like
them (or their "special" treatments for "special" patients like myself.)

Since my better half has now gone on before me, I have absolutely no one to control me now. 8)
I very much DO appreciate the comments (and concern?) from you guys though. You are ALL
the best.

You, um, didn't know that I'm a medical doctor? (I'm guessing, here.)

I may have heard that once, but simply chose not to believe it.
You, at least, have some common sense. Ain't the case for the idiots who I have to deal with.

Sorry. Love ya Grant. See if you can change your profession for me... Willya? :)
