I just realized that I have not tested my Colony and Rungworld webpages properly in IE6 (I normally use Firefox), and it turns out that because I used a couple of PNG's with transparency, well they don't display correctly in IE6.
Prior to v7, IE has problems with displaying transparent images... there are ways to fool it into displaying them, but they're not straight-forward, so for now, I've just incorporated the transparent images into the background, and as that's a jpg, IE6 users shouldn't have any further problems (although they may be slow to load for dialup users)
I apologise to all IE6 users who probably have not been able to view the pages correctly in the past. (I'm surprised no-one actually complained).
Please do let me know if you still can't see the large images on the RHS of the pages at the links in my SIG.
Regards

Thanks Anders,
I did know that, however the stats on visitors to my pages:
Code: Select all
Firefox 40%
MS Internet Explorer 6 36%
MS Internet Explorer 7 19%
Netscape Navigator 7.x 7%
Firefox 1.0 7%
Opera 9.x 6%
Opera 7.x 1%
suggests I need to cater for IE6.
Here's an interesting link on the issue...
