Comet McNaught
Man, looking at these pics, I am soo jealous. The entire time the comet was visible in the Northern Hemisphere, it was cloudy in my area. Very annoying.

Apparently there was an article in our local paper today saying that McNaught could be 100,000km in diameter
I imagine a newspaper reporter has got their units confused and substituted "km" for "metres". (A comet larger than Jupiter so close to the sun would be somewhat brighter than this one I think )
Anyway, has anyone heard any realistic predictions or measurements of it's size:?:
AFAIK, most comets tend to be 10's of metres up to 10's of km in size.

What I found even more annoying was that barely any mention was made of its arrival. I only caught eye of the article I'd posted by chance.
