Apparently there was an article in our local paper today saying that McNaught could be 100,000km in diameter
I imagine a newspaper reporter has got their units confused and substituted "km" for "metres". (A comet larger than Jupiter so close to the sun would be somewhat brighter than this one I think

Anyway, has anyone heard any realistic predictions or measurements of it's size:?:
AFAIK, most comets tend to be 10's of metres up to 10's of km in size.
