I believe both Voyagers' antennas should be directed to Earth... Only Voyager 2's main antenna points on Earth all the time. There is no code for Voyager 1 to do it in your .ssc. You've done it on purpose? There is information on the Voyager website, informing that both antennas are directed to Earth, so maybe you should modify the .ssc a little.

You are right of course, both should "follow" Earth, but I decide to keep one of them old fashion (no reference frame) to be able to fully see the spacecraft lightened from every where (with reference frame, only one side receive light...)...
Ok, I know, this reason sounds quite stupid but indeed it's very simple to edit the ssc to make both crafts pointing Earth...
