Way to change the goto speed or travel time

I'm using a capture from Celestia to make a video that features zooming in from way out in space to really closeup of New York State. Currently, the travel time with the "Goto Object" menu is a little too fast, and the accelleration isn't helping either. I can slow it down a little in my video editing software, but it looks choppy. Is there a way to slow down the travel time or prevent it from accellerating?

What you should be doing is learning about scripting. Your journey can be scripted so that you have complete control over the trevel time (and other aspects) of your journey.

Start with the Preliminary Scripting FAQ in the Scripting Forum: http://www.celestiaproject.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10038

Just use the zoom in and out keys. "Home, End" buttons. It's slower than the goto function.

Thanks everyone; I'll give it a try.
