In my solar system browser,appeared the "planet" Earth 2 and in it,I can??t turn the clouds shadows on.Look to my solarsys.ssc:

did you download the katrina model?

Danielj. You could download the addon Here or just go to the Celestia Motherlode, click on Earth, and go to the Cloud maps section. Then you will se a link saying "Katrina" and a screenshot. Click on the link and you're there. When you do see the link saying "Here" in the forum, just click on it, and that's it.

The reason I asked danielj that was because I named the mesh that orients the hurricane earth2. If he had already downloaded it and it was in his addon folder, I was going to tell him to put a .txt extension on the ssc file to disable it.

I think it was this.I put katrina in the extras folder,in Celestia 1.5.0 pre 1 cartrite pre compiling version...

I'm not sure what you are trying to do with cloud shadows and ho to tell you to do it while using that model so I ould suggest either removing it form the extras folder or disable it by adding a txt extention to the end of the name.

What are you sorry about? I don't think many people named their models earth2, thats what alerted me to this. I made it so how could you know what i meant? I was hoping that daniel would see that explanation but I guess he didn't. I didn't realy mean to correcting you if that's what you thought. Just trying to save myself some typing. :wink:
