Someone had made a Ceres map.Maybe is still in the forum, but it says that "the image is not available" or have a red cross in it.Can someone help me?
It doesn??t matter it is a very low resolution map;I prefer than the asteroid generic texture.
Ceres map
Re: Ceres map
I am talking about the Ceres map based in the recent observations of the Hubble.I think it was in NASA download server or something like this. But it is down, now. It??s not possible that no one knows where I can find this texture...

No official topic.Someone transformed this images of Hubble http://www.astronomiaonline.com/noticia ... asp?id=127 in a map.
I don??t remember who did this, but I am certain someone did and now is not readily available anymore...Where is it and why the NASA download server(Alan N. Federman site) is offline?
I can??t acess it and maybe the Ceres map is there...

Are you talking about the recent infrared mapping of Ceres from Keck? here's story on it: http://www.spaceref.com/news/viewpr.html?pid=21032
If so, I'm not aware of any map released to the public. Only those images that are included in the story.

NO.I am talking about the HST optical map of Ceres. It is simply a very low res albedo map of Ceres with the white "spot" in it.I think it was in NASA server, but the nasa.exp.arc is out of reaching, apparently offline for several days and I don??w know why.It is not an OFFICIAL RELEASE.

The map based in HST optical observations have more resolution than this Matt??s one. It??s the map of the images I send it recently.Just a planification of the images, just this.It is still a little crude, but nevertheless is better than Matt??s texture.
