I guess a good way to end this would be to find an answer for why I originally started it. In case anyone with a 64 bit Linux OS wants to build Celestia CVS with Spice enabled, here is a link to a beta Spice Library for 64 bit Linux systems. ftp://naif.jpl.nasa.gov/pub/naif/misc/b ... ux_64-bit/ Don't know why I never seen it before.
