I have uses the search to find stuff specific to Mac OS without much luck. I know there must be a lot of mac users so I must be doing something wrong. I am looking for keyboard commands and features that are not on the mac and am wondering if anyone has posted this?
I also have a problem that I must have caused when I loaded an ad-on. Many (but not all) stars have a square area around them that is much lighter than the background. Is there a simple fix or should I reinstall and start over? I use a power pc 4 with a GeForce FX 5200 and 512 mb of memory

Thanks for the quick response. I have e-mailed you a gif of part of my screen.
I use Celestia 1.4.1 running on 10.3.9. I did not get this issue when I installed a week ago but I went crazy downloading add-ons so I am doubless the author of my own misery.

Have you tried removing any of the more recently installed Addons?
You might take a look at http://www.lepp.cornell.edu/~seb/celest ... intro.html
It suggests a directory layout that can help keep addons managable.
Assuming you're up to date with whatever patches Apple provides for its graphics software, and if you can't determine which Addon is responsible, I fear you need to consider deleting the whole Celestia directory and reinstalling Celestia from scratch, and then reinstalling the Addons one at a time until you see the problem again.
I really don't know how an Addon could cause the squares around the stars, though.
