Once it's clear that the IAU resolution isn't going to be immediately overturned. However, if you're in a hurry to get rid of Pluto, you can use a text editor to modify the file solarsys.ssc in Celestia's data folder. Change the class of Pluto from "planet" to "asteroid"

edit: btw, will ther be a new class of objects for dwarf planets in the new version?

I dont see any classification catagory in the solarsys.ssc file that you mentioned.
