Inverting the mouse?

Post #1by Malenfant » 26.08.2006, 18:07

I just reinstalled Celestia 1.4.1 on my new computer and just noticed that the mouse movement seems to be inverted - if I left-click and drag and move the mouse left, the object I'm looking at moves left (i.e. I am turning to the right), and vice versa. Same happens on up vs down.

Has Celestia always done this? I can't remember , usually I don't use the mouse that much, I just type in the destination in the console and go to it like that, I don't really look around much. Anyway, is there a way to invert the mouse movement so that if you drag left then the observer turns left, or if you drag up then the observer looks upwards?

So far as I know, the selected object has always followed the cursor when you do a "left-mouse-button-drag". It's not a viewpoint rotation control. I doubt this will ever change.

The numeric pad keys 4 and 6 rotate the viewpoint left and right respectively, which is what I think you're looking for.
