Celestia mentioned on OHLOH

Post #1by steffens » 19.07.2006, 14:23

"Ohloh" is an information portal that is indexing open source software projects, set up by Ex-Microsoft managers

Here is what they collected about Celestia:
http://ohloh.net/opensource/software/celestia

Funny:
The source code has a low number of comments relative to other C/C++ projects.

Cool, I like their graphs (and I thought I was a slacker!)

But sadly it doesn't show the activity of non coder contributors who are an essential part of Celestia.

In any case, I want my share of the 1.5 million bucks!

Well, well...

such automatic displays are of course not "clever" enough to realize that the large amount of FT-1.x code with all the galaxies by Toti and myself was committed by Chris (rather than myself) ;-) . This was > 6 months of intensive coding work...

And it doesn't show either that most of my commits of late are catalog files which were produced by translators and consist in lines which aren't actual lines of code.
