Celestia as a web-browser plugin?

Hey all, new here.

Couple questions, please let me know if there is a better forum to ask:
1. Has anyone made an IE and/or Mozilla ocx/plug-in with Celestia?
2. If not, how much interest is there in such things?

A version of Celestia has been created which includes a browser for its interface. It hasn't been made publicly available, though.

Is that Futurelab thing Celextia containing a browser, or a browser containing Celestia? What I'm interested in is the latter. But I like the look of what they did.

What kind of use case do you have in mind ? I don't see how embedding Celestia in a web page would be useful.

One of Futurelab's use of a browser interface was to provide large labelled buttons and scripts to make it usable by someone who's never seen Celestia before. They use it in "kiosk mode" in the lobby of a local science museum.
