I've never encoutered or had the inclination to look for planetorium like stuff before. But since I have an interest in Astronomy, and am far from having the close minded attitude of most people, I decided to download this program. It was by total accident actually that I found it, but...

I like.....or as a neo-hippie of the 60's might say if they were interested in this stuff: COOL! Unfortunately the tendency to understate is overwhelming.
100 billion stars in the Milky Way.
100s billions stars in the Universe.
If 1 in 100000 stars have planets and 1 in 1000 of them have life and 1 in 10 of them have intelligent, then it surrounds us. We are alone? I THINK NOT!

This thing is awesome isn't it? Funny thing, I found this program when a friend from a Metroid Forum told me about it when we world sculpting.

I found Celestia while searching for space simulators on Google. I also found Orbiter, though Celestia is more fun, somehow.
