moon base shows up in outer space

Okay, I downloaded the moon base add-on and put it in the extras folder but when I opened Celestia and it took me a while to figure out that I had to type in "base lunaire" (french ) and when I did it took me to the base but it wasn't on the moon, anywhere near the moon, it was floating around in space!

Okay, I downloaded the moon base add-on and put it in the extras folder but when I opened Celestia and it took me a while to figure out that I had to type in "base lunaire" (french ) and when I did it took me to the base but it wasn't on the moon, anywhere near the moon, it was floating around in space!

Add-ons are done by users, often by very inexperienced ones and usually without any reviewing wrto quality and compatibility.

The Celestia development team is often not even aware of the add-ons in question.
