Anyone want to be in my book, or give me ideas?

Post #1by Hunter Parasite » 07.05.2006, 00:06

I would love to add you to my book you can be a representative of Humanity, a human commander, or part of the Alien militia the main character will begin to gather. but, i need ideas for energy based weapons. I've been looking at halo and star wars. But neither seem to have a sufficent "uniqeness". There all laser rifles and blasters and stuff. Nothing original.

All I have now is:

    Plasma Handgun

    Plasma Assault rifle

    Meson Rifle

    Magnetic Railgun

    Solar Cannon(Ship Mounted)

    Kuron Beam(Ship mounted)

    Kuron Rifle

    Time Culler

    TDD(Time Distortion Device)(Ship Mounted).

Is that some kind of Bio-Weapon?

I just got more ideas:
    Dark Matter Cannon
    Meson Cannon

    Micro Black Hole Generator(Ship Mounted)

Titanite Assault rifle (Soft metal rounds, fragment on impact)

    Antimatter Bomb(Ship mounted)

    Helium-3 Bomb(Ship Mounted)

AM assault rifle(Magnetic rounds Encasing anti matter, oxygen, helium, hydrogen, methane, nitrogen, carbon)

there's a "chronoscepter" kind of weapon from a n64 game called turok. in my RP's on some other forums, this is the technology my Plutonian Empire uses. you may use that if you want. :)

just look up "plutonian empire" or "chronoscepter", and you'll probably find some stuff. :)

I've turned the sprout rifle into the Organic accelerator rifle. And the time culler is about the same as the chronoscepter. Your plutonian empire will never stand up against the wrath of the varials and the powerseekers!

One more thing, i need a name for a creature of this description:

His vision is blurred as he slips into unconciousness. His mind registers a vaugely humanoid figure standing over him before he goes unconcious. The skin has a red tone and with a cluster of three fierce red eyes on each side of it's head. Muscles bulge on the arms and legs, while it's abs are clearly defined. It's spine is curved , so it hunches over, letting it's arms hang over Curt's body. At the end of those arms, were enourmus hands, with wicked talons that could easily slice through his climate suit.

It has to be a noun though, like Protecter, or warrior or something. Not a name though.

How about writing a book about peace instead of war?

Design a new society that economically, sociologically and from their religions is driven OUT of wars instead of INTO them...Discuss whether this is basically possible or -helas- might appear impossible, given the human nature.

Authors without good ideas to start, seems like a familiar fiasco.

Hunter,

You also need to spend some time correcting the grammar and spelling. One example is "it's" = "it is". "its" = "belonging to it"

We also had a chronobomb (made using the chronoscepter tech) that blew up the Deneb star system.

Peace kinda sucks when it comes to telling a good story :). You need drama, tension, action, intrigue... none of which exist if everyone gets along :).

Besides, he's a kid who wants to write a story, not a sociological essay!

Then I suggest he should write about SEX: "My daily experiences with the Celestia Forum" ;-)

Maybe it's just that I don't get your "quirky germanic sense of humour", but I have absolutely no idea why you'd even suggest something like that... 8O

Just let him write about whatever he wants. So long as he's enjoying it, who cares?!

Well, my first proposal

was apparently too sucking serious for your taste. ;-) In fact I could even imagine some
Malenfant wrote:drama, tension, action, intrigue...
in this subject. Really!

So I thought next -- a little less seriously -- what could be "the arithmetic mean" of peace and war ==> sure enough

Code: Select all

peace + war
--------------    = SEX
      2

Since we got many more SEX bots/day logging into the Celestia Forum than regular posts, I naively felt this was a good place to start ;-)

Of course, but the title of his thread reads:

Peace is impossible in this galaxy because of space pirates, terrorists and the creeping threat of the barbaric race called the powerseekers, who already destroyed M 31's partner clusters, M110 and M32. The threat of the globes(Dyson spheres craeted by a race called the creators, who are humanitys forerunners.) being activated, and obliverating everything with a radius of 10 radii from the galaxy. Oh and Plutonian, I have the time distortion device, like the chronobomb only reusable. So one lasts a lifetime. Unless destroyed.

One last thing, this is only a rough draft, so it's going to have grammar errors.

I for one second the peace thing.... Make the book start with war... The horrors of it then delve into peace and dive into other avenues like the possibilities...

Works for Arthur C Clarke!
