I wasn't here in 2002. I just discovered Celestia this January. So I hadn't seen* your texture before. And this one does* still look nicer.

I don't really know where these places are. I've found a few websites that offer models, which I've used for my Star Wars universe. And I found some French website that I couldn't even read that had some nice textures for some of the smaller moons of the outer planets. I'm still learning :) And google'ing lots.
