I am wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to create what I am going to call "triangulation patterns" between stars ? (Or Trapezoid for that matter.) I would like to use the program to re-examine Marjorie Fish's model of Betty Hill's star-map (created from the encounter with the Zeta Reticuli Greys). Is that possible ? It is quite difficult to do simple alignment of, for example, Zeta 2 and Sol (I tried it today.)
Thanks.
Creating lines between stars for triangulation-available?

Hello Pubman11, Yes. There are long straight 3D objects that you can put
in Celestia to connect the Sun with other stars. These are prism shaped
rulers you can download :

The rulers can be more than 80,000 light years long.
You can use the sun as the origin for the rulers, or you can use a universal
coordinate system to look at the rulers and graticules from long distances
from Sol. If you need more info, let me know.

The picture shows the Sun at the lower left and rulers 150 light years long
pointing at a distant place.
