Texture for Sun Runar Thorvaldsen Help

Hi overthere,
I just discovered Celestia yesterday, and I havr to say it's a really exciting experience. My only problem is that I did not succed to install the sun texture from Runar Thorvaldsen.... I succed for Moon, Mars etc... but I don't understand the process for this one... Idon't find neither any jpeg or png related to sun / sol in the default program...
Is somebody could explain clearly to me the process to see my sun animated?
I have the latest version of celestia but I don't know where to place the files I've downloaded... do I have to create an addons file ?
Please help me

Bienvenue,

If I recall, Runar's addon just need to be in your extra folder to work correctly, no special process to install it...

Salut Cosmic_boy,

You need also to enable the "Clouds" in the render menu to see the "Coronal mass ejection" effects.

Hello Cosmic_boy,

The process to find out where the jpeg file is for the Sun can be to use
the Forum search button at the top right of the forum. I entered
"star AND texture" and found out that astar.jpg is in the
textures\medres directory.

Thanks a lot for your help I couldn't think it was so simple.
Now it works perfectly.
I 've downloaded last night addons for earth textures but didn't have the time to install them yet.
I added the "2 millions stars pack" and it's really great, also add a new textures for earth cloud. Finally I never have time to travel I'm always busy by adding new stuff
