Hi,
I am working on implementing the new and very nice, hires Cyclops maps of many Saturn moons, possibly even for the forthcoming maintenance release celestia-1.4.1...
Here is an impression. Note that Phoebe is rendered here without a custom mesh (just roughsphere.cms)...
Bye Fridger

Nice!!
Question: how do you do to render a non-spherical shape without a mesh?

I think Fridger meant that he didn't use a specific mesh for Phoebe - as none has been done at the moment - but he put his texture on the the standard roughsphere.cms mesh (as I did)... Am I wrong ?

Of course, as all my textures, the colors will be computer mapped from some true-color reference image (as far as available)
The present shots represent just the first step of quite a lot of tedious texture work ahead of me...
