I'm sorry ! What do you mean ? I think there's no add-ons about these objects . Therefore this is the reason I asked it in your forum..But i'm going to do a search as you tell me . Thanks . And long life to Celestia . I love this software

Search for the asteroid's name. Use the most recent orbital parameters that you find. Translate them into Celestia format.
One description of how to do this is at

Please read the STC (STar Catalog) documentation.
It's available at http://www.celestiamotherlode.net/catal ... ation.html

Salut Tos,
Try this script.
It's not very accurate (Yes, Malenfant, I know, It's not very scientific ) But its just for fun.
Copy and paste the text in a file named "oldfield.ssc" and put this file in the "extras" folder.
After that, run Celestia, and in the Render menu checks the boxes "orbit" (in the main menu) and "asteroid", "planet", "planet orbit" (in the sub-menu)
Go to the sun and move to see all the Planet orbits.
The name "5656_Oldfield" will be displayed after the Mars orbit near this planet.
If you click on it to display its orbit, You will see something as shown in the site page you given (I hope )
Enjoy
PS: J'aime bien ta musique

Tubular,
Don't depend on them giving you the best answer.
Look it up yourself.
One reliable source is the one at NASA that symaski62 referenced.
Another is at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics:

Ok ! Selden ! I'm going to analyse all of these informations and to try to do something usable ! What i wanted it's a real view of this asteroid , not something virtual . But i understand now that with Celestia and some real complex and official informations it can be virtual but real too Thank you !

Tos, take the one given by Symasky62.
It's of course more accurate the mine I have calculated, with my limited knowlegdes (Ya pas photo )
Tx Sysmasky62, I take it too
For the real view, we have to wait for NASA send a spacecraft to this "planet" to see if Mike is there
