Earth looks all wonky

Hi All,

I have installed Celestia at my work as well as at my home.

At work i have no problems.

However at home, the earth looks like this:

My system configuration at home is:
MS Win 98 SE

Intel Processor
Display Intel 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 1
512 Mb Ram

Samsung Syncmaster 753 Dfx 17" flatscreen

The only difference between my home machine and the one at work is that, at work i have an NVIDIA GE ForceFx 5200 graphic card.

Is the graphic card responsible for the warped Earth image?

Thanks

RanTen

Most likely it is the graphics card. Nvidia 5200 is more than capable of doing 3D stuff, but intel cards are somewhat lame.
My Celestia page: Spica system, planetary magnitudes script, updated demo.cel, Quad system

hmmm

means i have to spend some bucks for the card at home....

but another thing that i forgot to mention...all other planets/stars look just fine....

i havent as yet added the hubble/iss 3d models...lets see how they behave..
