Where'd u learn to create .SSC files?

Hey everyone im having troubles creatin .ssc files or 3d renderings i've downloaded from sci-fi 3d....All i want to know is where did you guys learn them, or if you want to, teach me them yourself. THNX!!

I find it helpful to take an existing SSC file, copy the file and then edit it.
