What is the greatest number of planets you've encountered in a solar system on Celestia?
Me, I just counted the number of planets I created around my Pisces Centauri star, and I counted TWENTY FIVE planets (not counting moons, asteroids, comets, spacecraft, etc) in orbit!
What is the greatest number of planets you ever saw?

It all rather depends on how you define "planet" . And since we don't even have a definition for that in our own solar system then it's rather hard to answer.
(and no, let's not have yet another discussion about how we'd define "planet" if we had our way... )

Lord, yes, please not another such conversation. Ugh.
For an answer, I have a system with twelve "major bodies" lined up. I could, of course, create as many in a system as I want, but I don't want to be unrealistic.
So, let's change the question a bit. How many planets do you think are possible within a single system, assuming a parent star that is single, and of a mass similar to that of Sol? Less than half that of Sol? Twice as high as Sol? Higher?

Pisces Centauri is a "man-made" G2V star 2 light years from sol with an apparent magnitude of -2.00, making it appear brighter than Sirius when viewed from Earth. This gives the star a solar radii of 1.42.
It was created with a hi-tech bomb using advanced Plutonium Fusion technologies.
