Small objects aren't displayed

This is probably already discussed somewhere on the forum, but I can't find it.
Small objects, like spacecrafts and some small moons do not appear. From a larger distance they can be seen as spots but when zoomed, they simply vanish.
I'm using Celestia 1.3.2 on Ubuntu with GeForce FX5600XT.

Thank you

That means that Celestia cannot find the models.

Where did you install Celestia?
Where did you put the models?

This is being discussed in the users forum.

So far, there is no solution or workaround. I've tried Ubuntu and Debian with an Nvidia Geforce MX card. Andylong is using Fedora with an ATI card.

I found this in the FAQ. It's worth a shot. I will try it when I get home.

"c1) Type a [Ctrl-V] several times to select "Basic" or "Multitexture" render paths instead of the OpenGL Vertex programs. "
