um ya when i installed celestia 1.4 it said unable 2 open file because windows has to know what program created it can anyone point out what this program is??? :?:

Avpruler, there might have been an error in the installation. Otherwise, Windows wouldn't complain about an executable program. I suggest that you reinstall Celestia. Then run it either from its menu in the Start menu list, or from the desktop icon if you choose to install it, or directly form its folder.

Instead of version 1.4, you may wish to install version FT1.1, which is much cooler, having features not yet incorporated in the offcial version: http://www.shatters.net/~t00fri/celestia/celestia-1.4.0pre-FT1.1-win32.exe

the only problum you might have with FT1.1 is that the frames/sec. is a bit slow with gallxie rendering on , but other than that 1.1 is cool
