Could we get a Long. & Lat. grid for Earth?

This is my first post... but I've been using Celestia for nearly a year now.

Recently I've been thinking it'd be really handy to have a longitude and latitude grid on at least planet Earth.
Have an option to turn it on and off, and probably have an option to label the grid with it's coords too.

Also, if we could get a pole... through Earth's poles, connecting all the way to the poles of the celestial grid already in the program... that would be sweet.
Would help orient you while you were away from the planet.
Maybe have one color on the north side, and another color on the south end?

I had some other ideas... but can't think of them now... so these will do :D

I'll post more when I think of em...

Thanks...

you could take the medium res texture for earth, duplicate it and simply draw in the lattitude and longitude lines and put it in the lowres folder, then you just have to press r while in celestia to switch to it. i believe this is how celestia works, but i'm not 100% sure.

If you do put in an option for grids, could you make it put grids on all planets instead of just the earth? Maybe moons too (not like asteroid moons, actual round ones)
