I've just started playing around with scripting and I notice that when they crash and I get a windows error message on the screen (eg if I have a wrong character or something in the code), the mouse cursor disappears from Celestia completely (I've got Celestia in windowed mode). The only way to bring it back is to close Celestia using keyboard shortcuts - is this normal?

I have also had the same thing happen when I run in windowed mode. I onlt have had it for more severe errors though (if I am reading your post correctly). For the regular errors, like bad syntax or undefined value, I just get an error box which can be closed.
BTW: I have found that if you do not close the error box and then request a script to be run by double-clicking on a file, then Celestia crashes completely - ALWAYS close the error box before running a script.
