Found Anouther Bug

Post #1by billybob884 » 15.09.2002, 20:18

I found anouther bug, nothing too big, but still one none the less. In the celestia start document, when you change the coordinates, it doesn't change the place on the earth it goes to when you start celestia. Just thought you should know.

Mike,

I think Chris would prefer that bugs be reported in the forum "Celestia Bugs". Please be sure to include which version of Celestia you're running.

Mike,

Unfortunately, "latest" is ambiguous, especially if Chris doesn't see your posting until after he's put up another release. Do you mean 1.2.5pre3?
Does the same thing go wrong witn 1.2.4?

Also, it'd help if you included a copy of your complete start.cel and indicated which line isn't doing what you expect. That's give other people a chance to see if the same script fails for them.

Sorry to be picky like this, but I've found that it's usually best to be very explicit when you report software bugs. Whenever there's a chance for someone to misunderstand, they will.

If you post the changes you made, I can take a look at it . . . It sounds like you changed the gotolonglat command, which I thought was working fine.
