Erebus has a hole!!

Post #1by Don. Edwards » 08.08.2005, 01:25

Hey everyone,
I have been dealing with a bug I believe of my own making for months now. As seen in the image below I have a hole that apears as you get close to Erebus. I can't pinpoint when this glitch started but I have been living with it as I have said for months.

I was trying to import all the atmospheric data into the new ssc made for me but for some reason the atmospheres are not rendering. So I reversed course and imported the new orbital data into the ssc but than I get the old glitch again.
So does anyone have any idea what I may have done in my ssc to make this happen. It only happens with Erebus. All other planets render just fine. I am at a complete loss as to what to do at this point.
Any help will go along way.

Don.

I managed to get atmospheres working in th enew ssc and the at least the Erebus hole hasn't apeard here as of yet. I wouls till like to if anyone knows why this might have happened. That way I can avoid this happening in the future.

Didn't you respond to someone once about Albeido canceling out textures once? I have absolutely no clue if that is remotely connected to your issue, but I figured it couldn't hurt to bring up.
