When I turn on wireframes, planet and comet names become illegible for me. It's as if the algorithm for removing object pixels also removes pixels from text. Other object names are unaffected by this.
I'm using old drivers for compatibility with Neverwinter Nights, so my problem may be related to that. I just wanted to ask if anyone else had this problem.
Unrelatedly (or so I assume), I don't seem to be able to turn off the cyan comet names.
Celestia WinXP 1.3.2
GeForce 4 Ti 4200, driver 56.72
1600x1200x32 (with all effects and no speed issues, incredibly)
[ I'm a brand new user; I briefly praise the program in this post. ]
Text illegible in wireframe mode
Moon, asteroid, spacecraft and location names also become fragmented.
Star, constellation and galaxy names do not, nor do the RA and Dec values on the celestial grid, nor the "heads up display".
I have no problems disabling comet names, nowever, when I click to clear the checkbox for them in the Render/View Options menu.
System:
1GB, 3.4GHz P4-550; WinXP Pro, SP2
128MB GF 6600GT, Forceware v77.72
Celestia v1.3.2 final & v1.4.0pre6 both have the same symptoms.
