Windows CVS Celestia

I put up a Windows CVS Celestia executable here: http://www.rit.edu/~bjr5096/celestia/celestia.html I will try to keep it updated. :mrgreen:

celestia 1.7.0 64 bits
with a general handicap of 80% and it makes much d' efforts for the community and s' expimer, thank you d' to be understanding.

Our inarticulate friend has a point. There are no galaxies in this version! Presumably there's an additional data file that we need? :?

YES, certainly. You need the galaxy template files from my TextureFoundry

http://www.shatters.net/~t00fri/images/STemplates.zip

and put them into the Celestia root directory.
But we had that point before. It is entirely independent of Windows.

I have better templates meanwhile, but before committing them to CVS there is some more work ahead of me. Also I have a vastly accuracy improved deepsky.dsc galaxy file that will go to CVS soon as well (together with the largely recoded corresponding PERL galaxy extraction script).

Hi Brendan,

What's the version of your "celestiacvs.exe" ?

I can't see the Levels 11 and 12 added on the 1.4.0pre6.

It is the lastest from the cvs this week.
