Google Moon

Google is going on in its maps availability.
After the wonderful Google Earth, now we have Google Moon.
It is missing the 3D capability of the other one, but... nice anyhow.
Try it here:

When will we have Google Mars available? Images are there!
Bye

Hello Andrea, I read somewhere this morning that this service is only on line for this (anniversary) day (July, 20). And you can notice that the closeup (zoom) is finishing by a curious atomic/psychedelic dance ! What a silly Stargate... (and they have not placing the Clavius Monolith!) Jeam

Hello Jeam, you are right, at maximum magnification a kind of Emmenthal Swiss chease appears, not very nice, IMHO.
Moreover the images don't seem to be from Clemenrtine, but drawings.
OK, better next time.
Bye

I like the Swiss chease picture, what about I didn't thought, Sweiss chease appears to me without holes, like 'Gruy??re' :-) This moon's sim' looks like the 'day after day' designs of the google search main logotype, changing with different events, etc...
... you can see using the direction arrows that the scene is repeated: just the Apollo landing sites are quickly implemented into the google map tool, but if there is interrest, later, maybe they'll add, a complete moon map...and also Mars. Jeam
