Looking for a celestial body...

Post #1by TourqeGlare » 23.05.2005, 05:42

I was in space camp for a little while, and saw a nebula on a slide that resembles an old mans head.

All i know, does anyone know what I'm talking about?

You could try contacting them by e'mail. Whoever gave the presentation might be able to figure out which one you're thinking of.

Call them: they'll have a record of who was teaching what during your stay there.

According to their Web site, all Space Camp and Space Academy programs happen at their facilities in Huntsville, AL. They'll have a record of what you attended. That's assuming you attended the real Space Camp, of course, and not a local program that used that name illegally. (It's a registered trademark.) Their Web site is http://www.spacecamp.com/

Edit:
According to a 2002 article on Space.com, some of their other facilities were closed when the company ran into debt. That could be a problem if you attended one of those :(

At any rate, I'm sorry to say that I can't even guess which nebula you saw a picture of.
