Jestr,
The local cloud, also known as "Local Fluff," refers to a region that is many light years in diameter. The sun may have entered it a few thousand years ago. It isn't aligned with the ecliptic. See http://www.astronomycafe.net/qadir/q1372.html

Great job!
Very good job indeed, Dr. Fridger. Congratulations!
And thanks for your efforts.
I can hardly wait for the enhancements that will come up from today's flyby.
Bye!

I am also very much looking forward to the forthcoming close distance imaging of Titan. I shall right away include the new images...

such that with Celestia nice views of the surface may be
obtained just below the lower boundary of the yellow haze,

Also the yellow haze layer has been modified to include an
alpha channel, such that Saturn may just be made out from
below the haze boundary (~ 200 km)
Fridger,
Due to my current, extremely low-bandwidth circumstances (still waiting for the telco to hook up the new house), i??ll have to wait about a week before it??s practical to download this. But if you have changed the SSC entry in this version, i would be most interested to see what you have done... Could you post it here?
Thanks,
