This is my second work for Celestia.
New Hi-Res DDS (2048) VT Close-up (Level 8 to Level 12) of PEARL HARBOR (USA - Hawaii)!!
Celestia 1.4.0 or later is required!
I suggest to install my Texture only AFTER you have installed this other "close-ups" add-ons:
+ "USA: Hawaiian Islands" by kinderino
+ "USA: Hawaii, Oahu Island" by Jdou (only - USA_Oahu_Island_Honolulu_2K_L6-10_BM32k.zip-)
Special thanks for the GREAT work of Jdou & Kinderino!!

This latest add-on is good, the only problem is the change of resolution when zooming in, while using this with jdou's O'ahu VT add-on. It would be even better if the add-on from jdou could be incorporated with this add-on.
I am particularly thinking about these tile numbers which come from jdou's add-on;

These cover the Eastern end of the island.
Could it be possible for you to join forces and tidy-up the above tiles to be compatible with the new level 8 tile tx_31_97 ?

the problem with change of resolution ther's only if You install the "Extreme Close-Up 4K " Level 10 of jdou (USA_Oahu_Island_Honolulu_4K_L10_BM32k.zip).....i haven't installed this "extreme close-up" (4096) because my graphic card support only 2048.
When i say to install my add-on after jdou's "USA: Hawaii, Oahu Island" i mean only the main work (USA_Oahu_Island_Honolulu_2K_L6-10_BM32k.zip)......sorry.
It would be even better if the add-on from jdou could be incorporated with this add-on.

If you don't install the jdou's "4k extreme close-up level 10" all the above tile are fully compatible with my work....all tile are 2048x2048 (no change of resolution).

PS: If jdou agree to join forces to create a single add-on for this island for me there aren't problems!!

When I started to create my first VT I didn't know the graphic cards limitations, because my GeForce card allowed me to see textures of 4096x4096.
So, to keep the higher resolutions of images I found, some of VT at level10 (the greatest level for the version 1.3.2) are 4kx4k larges.
I should to work again on this add-on and also on the Irak cities to reduce to 2048x2048 these VT and take advantage of the new levels 11 and 12 allowed by the 1.4.0pre6 version.
But, the big problem for now is I am busy very busy
So I don't know when I could do that, sorry.
If Jekoz, you want to do these changes no problem, I will be very happy to share my "work" (and you even can sign Jekoz )
