Deep Impact Mission script available

I have finished both the french and the english versions of the script about the Deep Impact Mission.

Many thanks to Jestr for his great addon and for his help on the english translation !

Important : to run the script properly :
- You need to have Jestr Addon on your system. You can find it there : http://celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/spacecraft.php
- You need to read the readme.txt file before running the script. This is very important to set the orbits' options correctly.

As they seem to have a lot of work with the addons' update on the Motherlode, here's a temporarly URL from which you can download the script :
http://membres.lycos.fr/masnada/astro/

Any (positive / negative) feedback will be appreciated.

Just excellent! I just love these scripts.

I seem to have a bit of trouble with the script, where it is first overlooking Tempel !, and the part overlooking Deepimpact 2 - just before it hits Tempel 1. Probably my graphics card - it's entirely the wrong one.
I'll tweak with it a bit, and come crying for help if I make a total mess of it

Thank you
Terry Renner

Thanks Terry

You can increase the loading time of the textures. Everything is explained in the readme.txt file.

This is very nicely done. 8)

The only dissapointment was, that I didn't get to see the Rosetta mission too.

Thanks TERRIER,

For the Rosetta Mission, I think we still have some time to do it...

You have forgot the final cut (the '!' touch) :-) And i have a little question, is it not possible to add in the script the orbit commands on, not to do it by hand before to launch the script? Jeam

Salut Jeam,

I realised a bit late I didn't add the 'final touch' (as you call it) in the french version. But it's in the englsih script, so you can use this one if you want

As for the orbits setting, it is indeed not possible... It's a real shame because this is a very important command especially for educative scripts. Probably in a next version

Ok, nice. Are they hosted in CML? I'm waiting for that to add the good address in my catalog (not on the scripts page, but with the DI mission in 'spacecrafts', i presume)

Jeam

Yes, they're now on the script page of the Motherlode. Here are the links :
