Doing an experiment Rho1 Cnc e

I modify the texture of Vulcan in 40 Eridani, using Photoshop and put it in Rho Cnc e and the result is a more fiery, boiling planet.Look below

I think it looks pretty sweet, myself! Almost a mega-Io type world, eh?

Is the texture available for download?

Well,It??s not from 40 Eridani. The original should be in a file called Vulcanius.rar.Is it a Don Edwards??s creation?Or Rassilon??s?But vol-moon is a DDS file and my creation is in PNG.Sorry,I still have to find out.Unfourtanetely it appears that I lost the original...

I believe it's by Don Edwards but is no longer on his site. However, I picked it up from one of Frank's educational addons (the one with the Red Giant Earth), so that's where you should look to confirm its authorship.

Well,I think the original texture vol-moon.dds is from Don Edwards??Volcanius.rar texture and then Frank change it to vol-moon.png to display in Activity 6.Can someone confirm this?

In this link, you will find the texture:
http://br.f1.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/ ... bc&.view=l

It is the volcan02.jpg texture.
The original is a Don Edwards texture which was named vol-moon.dds.Then,Franks changed to png.My modified texture was named volcan02.png.But the size was too large to yahoo briefcase.
So,to distribute "unoficially",I reduced the texture from 4k TO 2k,and save it in jpg format.
Please, note, that was a e texture made by chance. So I can??t give details how was made.
I didn??t change the topic because it is a not official distribution.
Sorry if I am mistaken by the authors to give the proper credits...

I don't suppose you could email it to me? Yahoo isn't liking me right now, for some reason. I can get to your briefcase, but not *into* it.

Wonderful, thank you. I tried again today, but the bloody thing still wouldn't let me in. Don't know what the problem is.

Anyway, if the file isn't over 10 MB, then I should be just fine.
