Word Association Game
Hello,
I got the idea for this forum game off writingforums.com, who probably got it off another forum themselves.
The rules are is that someone posts a word, then the next person posts another word related to the first one, and the game goes on until the topic changes into something totally different.
No posting twice in a row (but feel free to post as many times as you like) and nothing too rude, also don't post more than one word per post.
I'll start with the first word, something quite appropriate:
Celestia
Now the next person has to post another word related to this one.

Michael,
Just a few questions -
Can the word be in any language ?
Are we allowed to use acronyms and abreviations ?
Or slang words ?
Names ?
What if the chosen word has no apparent connection - is it disqualified ?
Are you going to be the referee ?
Anyway, Am I allowed....
...HOYLE ???
regards,
TERRIER
PS The forum aint half been running sloooooowwww for me today.

The game isn't that strict, it's just a bit of fun really.
If someone posts an irrelevant word, go back to the one before might be a good rule, it's up to the person what's irrelevant and what's not.
Hoyle invented the big bang theory (I think), which is still on topic, so my next word is:
Galileo

I'm tempted to put the next word as HUYGENS (probe), but maybe it should really be connected to SPLUDGE !
So I'll go for APOLLO (13) instead.

Wasn't Hoyle the man who came up with the term 'BIG-BANG' out of derision for this alternative theory to his own Steady State Theory?

Not exactly sure, probably was, so your word was more on topic than I thought, I'll correct my post above.
My next word is:
Astronaut

Ouh la la !
I didn't know we could use old french words... 'Roy' was used a few hundred years ago, and now, 'king' is 'roi'
So do you allow me to keep on refering to french history and french language : Louis XIV was called 'Le Roi Soleil' and to go back to Celestian universe, I propose :
Sun
