After download, check it with a antivirus to be sure the file it's ok.
The site has been hacked few times ago.

Update:

Download was very slow (4 kb/s) with DSL. No Virus detected. Install went perfect (I uninstalled previous).

So far, 1.4.0pre6 works FANTASTIC! - quicker, smoother, reduced jerking is dramatic. Very few hic-cups. My old machine performs surprisingly well - the best version yet by far, imho.

Just upgraded to the latest ATI driver catalyst driver for RADEON 9200. It seems to have better options for OPENGL optimization in the graphics accelerator 3D options. Now working better than ever.

ATI has just released new RADEON drivers again! (CATALYST Windows XP 5.1) And again I see slight improvement in Celestia 1.4. Only one small stutter left in the demo near Saturn.
