normalmaps not working with meshes

How do i get celestia to display normalmaps on meshes?

I have made a normalmap for Phobos and I cant get it to display unless I turn of the mesh and let celestia render phobos as a sphere...


"Phobos" "Sol/Mars"
{
Mesh "phobos.cmod"
Texture "phobos.*"
NormalMap "moon_normal.*"

...

}

any ideas?

hi i havent keep up with this and it may have been solved


it's my understanding that YOU CAN'T it is not possable yet , to have height (normal,bump) maps on a model

Normal maps don't yet work with meshes, but this feature will be coming very soon. How did you generate the normal map for Phobos?
