Which "you" do you mean?
That was me, in a particularly disconnected post. My question was to Alex, but your post slipped in ahead of me.

Thanks, Selden...
It will be awhile till I get my own Internet connection (temporarily using the library...)
I Love Celestia! Truly!!
I'm a creative writer with 19 stories ahead of me that happen about 1,000 LYs from here. I have the planets, moons, etc. in Celestia and have been "living" there for a few months now.
Will 1.4 take all my .JPGs and the extrasolar.scc I'm using now?
Alex
p.s. Must leave the library soon. Look for your answer later............

Alex,

You might be able to arrange for the library to download the prerelease and write it to CD for you. Or you might try contacting a local planetarium.

Celestia v1.4.0 is supposed to be able to use previous planet and star catalogs. If it isn't, it's a bug, and Chris needs to hear about it.

It's just that the latest star catalogs that Grant and Fridger are working on include (or consist entirely of) binary stars. Defining the orbits of those binaries requires new catalog declarations that have been added to v1.4.0.

(I hadn't realized that Tau Bootes was a binary with a planet! It's amazing it's stable, considering the orbit of Tau Boo B.)
