Hello AMOS-1,
Why don't you try out some of the satellites and tell us which ones you think are the best?

See htp://celestiamotherlode.net/catalog/satellites.html and download them all!

Cheers,
Joe

IMHO the best Celestia satellite model is Jestr's Hubble Space Telescope (17 Mb CMOD file, that yoiu can find at the address given by alphap1us). :D

But to enjoy it you need a very powerful graphic card, mine gives a slow framerate when HST is hovering the 32KBlueMarble Earth, so that I had to put OUT the clouds. (BTW, in the image it's over Northern Venezuela, with Central America on top left)

I agree with Andrea, but with a caveat...

Jestr's model looks spectacular even on my machine, and I don't even
have a graphics card.

Come to think of it though, almost any model from Jestr is going
to be among the best available.

Take care, Bob

IMHO, almost all satellites from Jack are the best for Celestia :

They are a good balance between realism (details and features) and simplicity. They aren't too heavy for most systems (memory and video cards). They are sharp and very well done. From an academic point, tey are the best.
