Celestia - Encounter problems and will now close?
After downloading Celestia 1.3.20 and installing, I have not been able to open the program. As soon as I try to open it, the program starts to load and then stops and I get the message "Celestia has encounter a problem and will now close. Sorry about the inconvience. My system has the ASUS P4S800 motherboard, ATI Radeon 9200 card, OS is XP Pro, 512 DDR. I am running Zone Alarm Pro in place of the windows firewall and McAfee Security Center. I have not found anything in these programs that may affect Celestia but I may be missing something. Has anyone else encounter this problem?

Jaime,
I think that symaski62 is trying to suggest that you might want to try out the new prerelease of Celestia to see if that helps. Unfortunately, I suspect it won't.
Your symptoms are consistant with having old, buggy graphics drivers. Current versions of the drivers are freely downloadable from ATI's Web site at http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
Please let us know if this improves things.
Also, you might want to read the Preliminary User's FAQ which is near the top of the Celestia Users Forum. The first few Q/As discuss graphics hardware issues.
