greetings to all am new to celestia so forgive dumb ass questions.
(A)I can not find the data folder on celestia
(B)I do not know how in windows XP to drag or transfer files (XYZ or SSC) to the data or extras folder.
(C)I have downloded the zip program from celestia but not sure how to transfer files after unzip.(into data and extra)
Will celestia propagate astrodynamics(xyz)data into future orbits?(like dance of the planets)
I would like to propagate pioneer 10 and 11 and voyager 1 and 2 orbits using there initual injection aimpoints before the first TCM.I use to own years ago the AIAA/ASS papers with this information.I believe that the star solid upper stage for three of these space craft are in a solar system escape orbit, shoud we not place something of cultural inportance on the pluto missions space craft and any upper stage leaving the solar system?
Mars obsever is in a solar orbit(?)will mars observer reencounter mars in the coming decades?
Any one with the skills to check out and propagate solid upper stages to the stars would you tell johnathen Mcdowell over at his space history site
Thanks

infocat13,
Please take a look at http://www.lepp.cornell.edu/~seb/celestia/addon-intro.html
That should help you get started with installing Addons. If not, please let me know what improvements are needed.
JPL's Horizons ephemeris server might have the orbital parameters for the upper stages you mention.
See http://ssd.jpl.nasa.gov/horizons.html
Does this help?
