hey am I the only one who have that bug. ???

i suppose i have the wrong graphic card i.e. a geforce 4 Mx 440 with nvidia 61.11 on slack 10

Yes, this is a known bug that only seems to affect MX cards. It isn't clear if Chris can fix it in Celestia or if it has to wait for Nvidia to provide patched drivers. See http://www.shatters.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=40788
