1.3.2 and transparent meshes

Post #1by Rassilon » 25.08.2004, 20:43

There is still bugs in the transparent meshes. They now appear behind solid objects in certain instances...

In the next two you will see a variation of clipping depending on your approach. When the camera moves closer to face the planet the clipping disappears. When moved towards the horizion the clipping appears. The object(clouds) should always appear in front of the object in question as its radius is larger. It might also be good to allow certain meshes to behave exactly like clouds rendered by Celestia. I might try making this all one cmod file and see if this changes the effect but I would rather keep it seperate due to the fact clouds move faster than the main planet.

All these problems did not happen in pre 11...
