Pre10/11 render bug with OverlayTexture and OpenGL/NVIDEA co

Hi all,

I've notice a bug happens only with the latest versions of Celestia (pre10/11) and only with 'OpenGL vertex progam/NVIDEA combiners'. If I switch to an overlay texture (e.g. LOK mask) the planet gets dark and wrong illuminated. With Celestia1.3.2pre8 this bug doesn't happen. Here are a shot. The left site looks correct without overlay texture and on the right the bug as seen with the LOK overlay texture.

My system: win98SE, GF3, Nvidea drv 5664

P.S. I've prepared a little addon "Automatic brightness corrections for textures" which use the 'OverlayTexture' function. At the moment it makes no sence to release it. Here is a preview:

Thank you for the bug report Jens. This one was difficult to track down, but easy to fix once I isolated the source of the problem. It's a good thing you found it, because it appears that it affected all alternate surfaces, not just the ones with overlays.
